The factory intake is designed to be quiet, not fast. The COBB SF Intake fixes that by replacing restrictive baffling with a high-flow system engineered specifically for the picky Subaru MAF sensor. Unlike cheap aluminum intakes that turn into heat sinks in your engine bay, our custom composite body resists heat transfer, keeping your air charge cool and dense even in traffic.
Inside, we use a CFD-designed velocity stack and a unique airflow straightener grid to comb the air smooth before it hits the sensor. This ensures your ECU gets precise data, giving you the flow of a race intake with the smooth idle and driveability of a stock car. Plus, the included steel-reinforced silicone coupler ensures the intake won't collapse under the stress of high boost.
